I don’t want to turn this into a long rant, but I have to say, if the airlines wonder why they have so many problems, they need only look to themselves. I flew from NYC to Las Vegas today- a six hour nonstop. The plane was a 737- not exactly spacious- and I swear to God, the last time I traveled, I could have sworn these things were only five seats across. Well, lo and behold, now they are six- maybe they were always six across, but I don’t remember it. Anyway, for six hours I was wedged between two other people like a sardine. It was uncomfortable. And with my bad back, it was even painful. I would much rather a long drive than a flight any time. And that is why the airlines have problems. I have a family of four dying to make a trip to Disney in Orlando. Guess what? It’s going to be a driving trip. We’ll rent a minivan or something spacious, we’ll drive leisurely, stop regularly, and eat well (another thing- the only meal service was a pay service, and it was awful. Never again).
Anyway, there’s my gripe. Just thought I’d mention it. No pics yet, but I should have something a little later in the week.
